Johnnie Walker Whisky & Johnny Herbert


To secure Scotch whisky brand, Johnnie Walker Whisky, with a high-profile figure from motorsport. To help them target motorport fans, the partnership required the celebrity to create an interview on the brand's behalf to be shared on social media. 


We delivered former Formula 1 driver, Johnny Herbert, to fulfil the brief. Johnny was interviewed on camera, recounting his first ever Grand Prix win at Silverstone in 1995. The film was called ‘Johnnie Walker steps inside Silverstone’ and used Johnnie Walker branding.

The whisky brand then used the video for a number of promotional campaigns before making it a key component of their corporate hospitality collateral.

The perfect marriage between Johnny Herbert and Johnnie Walker Whisky meant that we were able to help the brand demonstrate the strength of their relationship with Formula 1. The video was viewed via YouTube over 70,000 times.
