Manchester United legend and Sky Sports pundit
With a football career that lasted 19 years and saw him play over 600 games for Manchester United, Gary Neville won a whole host of major honours. This included eight Premier League titles, three FA Cups, two Champions Leagues and two League Cups. Establishing himself as one of the best right backs in the country, he also played 85 times for England.
Making his debut for the club in 1992, he was part of one of Manchester United’s most dominant eras which included winning the treble in 1999 and being made the club’s captain in 2005. In 2011 he announced his retirement from football, leaving the game as one of the most decorated players of all-time and a Manchester United legend.
Since retiring he has remained in the public eye, working as a pundit and commentator for Sky Sports. He has been widely praised for this role and is often regarded as one of the best pundits on television.
Gary has also worked as a coach joining England as assistant manager in 2012, a role he maintained until the conclusion of the European Championships in 2016. In 2015 he was announced as the manager of Spanish team Valencia, leaving after just four months. He has since announced he has no intention of returning to coaching, instead wanting to concentrate on his television career.
