Shaun Murphy joins Champions Celebrity

Champions Celebrity Talent Management, an arm of leading UK brand agency Champions (UK) plc, have added another string to their bow with the signing of one of the world’s most successful snooker players, Shaun Murphy. The renowned player has signed with the agency who will be responsible for handling all of Shaun’s work.

One of the world’s most well-known snooker players, Shaun Murphy rose to prominence in the early noughties winning the prestigious World Snooker Championship in 2005. This victory shocked the world of snooker as prior to the event, Shaun’s odds of winning were at 150-1. However, he overcame three former world champions on his way to glory including John Higgins, Steve Davis and Peter Ebdon.

His career has gone from strength to strength since then and in 2008 he added the UK Championship to his name before completing the Triple Crown in 2015 when he won the Masters. This win saw him join an elite few who have managed to win the Triple Crown in their career. His most recent triumph came at the Champion of Champions in November, defeating Ronnie O’Sullivan 10-8 in a thrilling victory at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.

Now, with 22 professional tournament wins under his belt, seven of which were ranking victories, he continues to compete at the highest level of international snooker. As one of the country’s top players, Shaun is always in demand and as part of his partnership with Champions, the agency will be handling all of his commercial responsibilities and media work.
