Roy Walker collaborates with Drinkaware on Alcohol Awareness Week
19-25 November marked Alcohol Awareness Week and leading organisation, Drinkaware, broadcasted recent stats and findings through a radio day.
The organisation provides independent advice, information and tools to help people make better choices when it comes to drinking and bringing a ‘face’ to their campaign was Roy Walker.
The famous comedian’s association with the brand came following his appearance on ITV’s 100 Years Younger in 21 Days where he, and other ageing celebs sought to lose 100 years from their face, bodies and brains.
In the interviews for Drinkaware, Roy commented on what he found out about alcohol and ageing during the show. He also shared his own experiences with alcohol and what drove him to cut back on his weekly intake.
