Kellie Maloney teams up with Simon Weston OBE to front Nationwide Loneliness Campaign

Kellie Maloney is a boxing promoter who underwent gender reassignment in 2014 and ever since has been a key member of the inspirational speaker’s circuit.

Kellie has recently joined forces with Simon Weston OBE – who is a Falklands War veteran who suffered severe burn injuries – to assist Nationwide Bank’s latest campaign.

Nationwide have found that one in ten (10%) people who admitted to being lonely all of the time believe they are more susceptible to scams. Aiming to raise awareness of people suffering on their own, both Kellie and Simon discussed their own experiences of isolation and loneliness in order to encourage lonely people to seek company.
