Kellie Maloney

Kellie Maloney joins all-star line-up on MasterChef

It’s a show that culinary fans everywhere anticipate every year as 20 famous faces from the world of sport, television and music come together to serve up masterpieces (or in some cases disasters) for a panel of judges.

That’s right, Celebrity MasterChef is back and if the line-up is anything to go by then it’s going to be a good one.

Among the chosen 20, Champions Celebrity Talent Management is thrilled to see our very own Kellie Maloney in the mix for the acclaimed title.

Kellie, the former boxing promoter and manager to Heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis CBE, is at home when in a sporting environment, but the kitchen is an entirely new challenge for the star. She kept her cool ringside, but how will she fare when it comes to withstanding the heat of the kitchen?

This is one of her many television appearances since she announced her gender reassignment in 2014 which took her from Frank to Kellie.

So, who will she be competing with in the kitchen?

The recently announced line-up is a combination of well-known reality names, soap stars, comedians, Olympians and television personalities. EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt known for his role as Ian Beale is one of the names, along with TOWIE’s Joey Essex, French actress Élizabeth Bourgine, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE, Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison and footballing hardman Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.

The official date for the show’s airing is yet to be confirmed but it’s expected to return to screens on BBC One this summer. Be sure to keep an eye out and tune in to watch Kellie Maloney put her cooking skills to the test.
