Dick & Dom, Jordan Banjo and Angelica Bell join Jet2 for The Ultimate School trip

This weekend saw a whole host of famous faces jet off to Mallorca’s Sol Katmandu resort for a school trip like no other. The trip was part of a campaign for popular British airline Jet2. The company put on the ‘Ultimate School Trip’ which saw 260 school children from across the country travel to the island for a weekend of fun activities and workshops.

Hosting the event was well-known children’s TV presenters, Dick & Dom, who kept kids entertained for the entirety of the trip, as well as hosting some of the educational workshops. The lucky children who were able to jet off for some Spanish sunshine had won a competition run by Jet2, where they had to promote the luxurious resort of Sol Katmandu with Dick & Dom responsible for choosing the nine lucky schools.

The pair were not the only celebrities who got involved with the trip, dancer and Diversity star Jordan Banjo gave the kids a dance workshop, offering them tips from his own street dance career. Popular TV presenter Angellica Bell was also on hand to conduct craft activities with children, and pyrotechnic expert and the man behind all the explosions on Amazon’s The Grand Tour and BBC’s Top Gear, Mike Sansom, gave children a fun insight into a whole host of scientific subjects.

Other benefits of the event included a school disco on the final day, VIP send off from the airport and a welcome dinner which was attended by the celebrities. All the children at the event had a fantastic time, gaining memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
