Singer and Britain's Got Talent judge
Alesha Dixon first found fame as part of the girl band Mis-Teeq the band had seven top ten singles and released two studio albums which achieved platinum and gold certification respectively.
In 2005 the band went their separate ways, but Alesha’s career continued to go from strength to strength. To date she has released four solo albums and had two top ten singles.
In 2007 she took part in the Strictly Come Dancing. Winning the programme, she received an astonishing 4.5 million votes from the general public in the final.
Winning the hearts of the nation, in 2009 she made her first venture into judging, replacing Arlene Phillips as judge on Strictly Come Dancing just two years after winning the show herself. In 2012 she left Strictly to join Simon Cowell as a judge on talent show Britain’s Got Talent.
